This is a question Winning

I once won a gas boiler from The Guardian. Tell us about times you've won, and the excellent and/or crappy prizes you've lifted.

Hm. Chronologically, have won:

Cadet thing, got trips around the world
RAF Scholarship, twice, pilots license, wings etc
Selection (toenails fell out)
Scholarship for MSc: won national award
Scholarship for MBA, gained distinction.
Etc. Etc.

Today, am not a pilot, am not a soldier, am not employed in any recognisable trade or profession and have barely a penny in cash.

But I am sitting in my back garden, playing with my daughter, and realise that I have finally won something useful.

What is it you have won?
The house or the back garden? I know for a fact you can get a kid free with very little effort and I think there's something called Craig's List where you can buy one or get one as a trade for am iPhone.

You are me. Sixth Form Scholarship, Flying Scholarship, University Bursary, IACE place, the works. I then went to university and it turned me into a layabout.
