Things to do before you die
Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us that his ambition is to a) drive around New Zealand in a camper van; and b) have MASSIVE sex with the original members of Bananarama. Tell us what's on your wish list, and why.

Fantastic
This would be my dream. I go virtually everywhere by bike and this would be an ace chance to see some serious scenery.

Biking to my mate's house
is about 6 miles each way. I can handle that. Back in my youth, we used to cycle maybe 80 miles in a day quite happily.
The north-south route from the top of Norway to Portugal (I think) looks fantastic on Google Streetview. The logistics of it would be a real pain though. And even if I get back into shape, it would still take me 9 months, and I'd really need to leave Norway in mid-summer.
There's a blog somewhere of a guy who's is attempting one of the routes.

This one?

It's linked from the Wikipedia page. The logistics seem ok to me - pack a light tent and sleeping bag, plenty of water storage and at least a day's food more than you think you'll need, and a change of clothes. It'll all fit in front and rear panniers, no need for a rucksack. Take lots of cash and a good credit card, try not to get mugged, and be prepared to do a few miles in the dark, or find a well hidden spot to pitch a tent, if you misjudge things. And to get wet sometimes.
I just wish I had a job that would give me a 9 month holiday on full pay.
