This is a question I witnessed a crime

Freddy Woo writes, "A group of us once staggered home so insensible with drink that we failed to notice someone being killed and buried in a shallow grave not more than 50 yards away. A crime unsolved to this day."

Have you witnessed a crime and done bugger all about it? Or are you a have-a-go hero?
Whatever. Tell us about it...

I'd heard about it umpteen times
but never actually seen it, until a week or two ago, when I actually saw an expensive BMW driven by two black blokes that had been pulled over by armed police.

I know it's not really on topic, but until then I'd wondered if it was just a cliche/urban legend that this happened. It rather satisfied me to see that the police can live up to their reputation in terms of being discriminatory bastards.

In other news, I recently accidently mentioned to one of my (now ex-)housemates that the banging noises we could hear from our flat were gunshots, not fireworks, and then had to work reasonably hard to convince her I was joking in order to prevent excessive panic.

Call me pedantic but .....
surely it was driven by only one black bloke ? (Sorry mate. I just can't help myself.)

Is there some sort of diplomatic immunity for black blokes in BMWs that I don't know about?
Did you consider that they really may have warranted the armed response unit?

My Dad
in the 1960s, my father had a beard, and drove a morris traveller. He got pulled over by policemen on a regular basis, for the crime of looking like a hippu, and being accused of having drugs. He was not a hippy, and is one of the most vehemently anti-drugs people I know.

Biohazard...
Yeah, the TFU aren't called out lightly. I'd say if those guys were being pulled by armed police, there was prolly a reason for it.

@ BeardedWhumpus - HOWEVER - I do like how you convinced your housemate that fireworks were gunshots... THAT'S genius!
