Not going to correct you but..........I have been parking my car against the flow of traffic for the 7 years we've lived in our house.
It's permit only parking here so we often have traffic wardens ticketing people and I've never had a ticket.

Its legal park against the flow of traffic in a marked bay in a 30mph limit IIRC.
ISTR Its also illegal to park on the roadside without sidelights at night in anything above a 30mph limit
