that I had three children who I kept in a cage* and I had just given birth to another. I then had to find a step-ladder.
I couldn't find it in the house so I went to an old ruined castle where there was a group of actors putting on a play. I pushed my way (with the baby wrapped up in blankets) to the front of the crowd, climbed up onto the stage/ruins to look for the step-ladder.
I couldn't find it, so I went out into the countryside and walked around. I walked past a show-jumping event, where my daughter (the baby, but now about seven years old) was jumping. One of the other competitors had a silly poncey name (I can't remember what it was now) and, walking along, I had a conversation about how it was cruel to give children silly names with my daughter (now in her twenties). I was pushing a buggy. At the start of the walk it contained the baby (a toddler at this point) but by the time we'd past the field where the show-jumping was it contained my grandchild, my daughter's baby.
I didn't age at all through the dream, although I was older than I am now.
And I woke up before I could find the step-ladder.
*they were very small for their age and if I'd let them out they would have burrowed under the floorboards.
