but then i changed my mind, decided to live minimally, and now spend every day thinking about how my plan to live minimally would be better executed if i threw out some of the crud.

my new laptop will come with 3gb of ram though, even though i probably won't ever use it

Dell have a tower going for £199 with 3gb Ram and all the other bits.
