It was easier to flip the door than faff about with all of that.
Unscrew, turn around, screw in again. Much easier than unscrewing and refitting the whole mechanism, especially as they'd painted the bloody things solid. I needed to unhang them anyway as they were all catching on the carpet and splitting the cheap panels. I hate shit builders.

One thing right, then.
If that hadn't worked I'd have just refitted the lock mechanism, but luckily, it did. You should have seen the state of one of the frames, they'd taken about five attempts to hang it right (and still got it wrong) and the frame was split to buggery. It's fixed now, just, and I have the Virgin mob coming round next friday to rig up the TV and internet so I can move in.

I hate 'web designers' who have no clue on web design and base their 'designs' on printed material.
No concept of menus or anything like that.

And then outsourcing the hard-core stuff (roffle; <? include('head.php'); ?>... and that's it) to poland at £1000/month.

Luckily, one of my flatmates is a builder
and not a crap one, so I'll have him deal with things from now on. I much prefer sitting about on the internet.
