What motorbikes?
Look at Bandits. Bandits are well nice (without all the silly front fairings). So nice I have a cat called Bandit.

Oh yes. Lovely.
But I'm looking for a FIRST motorbike. I think I'd die on that.

It's only a 600.
Have you got your full access or just your CBT?
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:17, archived)
I'm doing my CBT soon.
I haven't ridden a bike for so long, I'm basically a beginner.

AHA
Don't get a Bandit then, you'll be told off by the coppers.

I think I want a CG/CB 125 or summat.
I have seen a nice TZR for £500 though, and that looks AWESOME

You could get an MT50
they're LOADS of fun. Lovely little things.
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:22, archived)
Yeah there's a few little 50cc semi-off road ones I've seen that I like
Oh, I just don't know
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:25, archived)
Considering Direct Access.
I want a Suzuki DRZ-400 so i cna motocross on it too with a spare set of wheels.

Good plan.

Awwwww

a mate of mine has one of these (albeit the 1985 model)
he's 6 foot 5 and looks like a total loon burning down the road on it, knees up, beard trailing out from under his helmet. Packs the bike in his car when it rains...

Does he know bikes aren't made out of alka seltzer?

(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:25, archived)
The Z50 possibly was

see about getting a Generic Trigger bike
they are cheap as chips and will be fairly unlikely to burst into flames at the slightest chance
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:26, archived)
Whats a Generic Trigger bike?

(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:28, archived)
imported 50cc Café racer

Yeahhhh but the fairings make things better if you plan to ride any kind of distance.
Otherwise they're too buffety and windy, especially on the average fast A-Road and above.

My ex never had any problem
and he rode like a mental. The CBR was the main bike though, as far as I recall.
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:22, archived)
There's your answer.
Good choices all round, though :)
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:24, archived)
The CBR was WICKED
I could reach the floor on it. No mean feat, I'm a short arse.
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:26, archived)
That's good to know.
Basically, I want a sports 600 eventually, as they're smaller. I'm only 5'8" or so, I daren't contemplate dropping a 'blade or similar 0_0
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:29, archived)
CBR 600 is the bike for you.
Low slung, shit off a shovel, good bike.
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:30, archived)
Yeah I really really want the CBR600RR
Apparently Hondas are the ones to go for these days again, which is good. Plenty reliable.
(, Wed 27 Aug 2008, 11:32, archived)
I'm 5'7"
and have two GSX-R750s and a Hayabusa...
