no it's true pretty much
a group of friends and i started doing loads of weed when we were about 14 and it lead to worse things. I was in acting circles so seemed to have an endless supply of whatever i pretty much wanted from pervy old directors that wanted my tight young twink ass WHICH I NEVER RECIPRICATED THANK YOU

most of the young addicts I know of started with weed

Just because they did weed first,
doesn't mean the weed "led to" the rest. It's just the whole general lifestyle thing, by the looks of it. I'll bet most of them actually started on rusks, before moving onto Angel Delight. And THEN weed.

fair point
but marijuana is a dangerous and addictive grug

and it makes you lazy

and stupid
(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 20:23, archived)
It's not that addictive,
or that dangerous. Not compared to tobacco, anyway. I've done it a few times. I just think it's crap.

All of this

Only if you're a twat

I do agree with this

My ex went off his head on weed.
He just became psychotic and ended up losing his house, job, motorbike, everything. I'm not saying it was just the weed and he would probably have become addicted to something else because it was in his nature, but I certainly don't believe weed is harmless any more.

Not harmless no,
but you'd have to do a hell of a lot of it to get to that stage.
(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 20:31, archived)
He did.
That's why I said it could have been anything. The point is that he thought weed was OK as it wasn't as bad for you as alcohol.

Alcohol can be a terrible thing though

it's far more likely to cause irreperable damage to the liver than is weed,
but not quite so likely to make you a long-term mental.

I'm more comfortable with stoners than I am with heavy drinkers.

This

Oh
be careful. You know what'll happen if you say things like this...
(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 20:41, archived)
I know.
My sons' father was an alcoholic. That's no fun either.
(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 20:40, archived)
This.
Or you have to be pre-disposed to mental disorders and addiction.

I think he was.
His grandfather blew his head off with a gun so I suspect there was something in the family. Not that any of them would have admitted it.
(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 20:41, archived)
No. It's been proven as complete and utter bollocks.
The only fuckwits that still pretend to believe it are the media, MPs and do-gooders with vested interests in keeping the lie going.
