Are you a racist
If you don't find black/white (whichever you aren't) people attractive ?
A firend of mine said to me "I'm not racist, but black women just don't turn me on".
He definately doesn't have any racist beliefs and has many black friends.
What does this mean ?

no
only if you hate them are you racist
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:21, archived)
what if you hate them
but it's nothing to do with their race?
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:22, archived)
depends
if they're gay.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:22, archived)
I do find most of the gay community
detestable, but it's nothing to do with their love of men.

I say most, I've onyl seen a handfull. And they were on tv.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:24, archived)
harhar
a handfull.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:25, archived)
ho ho

(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:26, archived)
silly person
they're all lovely (apart from the bitchy ones)
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:28, archived)
yeah, it's the lovely I can't stand.
The same goes for actors. Why don't they all just die already?
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:30, archived)
Because then...
...Tom Baker would have had to stay in the monastry?
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:33, archived)
i was also thinking of Tom Baker
as a counter argument.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:38, archived)
naw
that's luvvies
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:34, archived)
Just insulting them will do.
You can hate them in private, it's sharing your views that makes you racist.

I hate all foreigners.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:23, archived)
I think light bulbs are a good idea
does that make me a racist?
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:28, archived)
were you bitten by one as a child?

(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:29, archived)
one leant over my pram
I am married to a foreigner, my personal invited audience to the live recording (oxymoron) radio show I produced last night (15 people) consisted of only one English born and bred person and he moaned all night long that he was hungry.

YES
AND YOU WILL BURN IN HELL
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:21, archived)
it means he doesn't fancy certain people,
if a white person had afro-carribean traits/ features they probably wouldn't fancy them either
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:25, archived)
It means he doesn't fancy black women.
The same way you don't fancy fat/skinny/thick/hirsuite/smelly men.

its just another "feature". If you don't hate 'em its not racist shirley?
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:25, archived)
well that's what i thought
but i'm just not sure - I don't fancy fat women, this is because they're fat. So really i'm fattist. Doesn't the same apply ?
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:27, archived)
No. You are not fattist.
I take it you don't *hate* fat people. You just don't fancy them.

Just because you don't fancy men (assuming that you are not bi) doesn't make you mannist does it?

It's like saying you find fat people ugly as sin.
Fat people will still belate you anyway.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:27, archived)
Hating fat people is acceptable
They made the choice to be fat.

Foreigners were born ugly.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:30, archived)
All fat people are ugly?
and why would I want to belate you? I save that sort of filth for the bedroom and my man ;)
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:31, archived)
i'm afraid
rolls of fat and a constant desire to eat just aren't my thing...
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:32, archived)
Obe day he'll meet a black girl
who'll make his nuts feel like they're about to turn inside out.

He's only even thought about it because "Oh god, why don't I fancy any of the black/asian girls I've met! Am I a racist!?"

No he isn't. Tell him to calm the fuck down and just get with whoever the fuck he likes.

Someone mentioned Moira Stewart below
combined with this post reminded me that she was in a documentary to trace back her roots.

She traced them back to a remote part of Scotland a couple of hundred years ago. That was a surprise.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:27, archived)
Ah yes....
....the dreaded Jamican viking incursions on the West Scottish coast in 1157, hence, Moira's heritage.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:29, archived)
mmm
Moira Stewart

she just doesn't seem to age, that woman.
I love her.
(, Sat 2 Jul 2005, 0:30, archived)
i was thinking the same thing.
I have a tape of The Adventure Game. She's just the same!
