If I'm found INNOCENT of a violet crime my DNA stays on the database for 12 years.
If I'm found INNOCENT of a minor crime my DNA stays on the database for 6 years.

The problem I have with this is that there is no difference between my innocence of either crime! I'm being punished and the sentence for that is decided by something that someone else has done.
