we don't have that many people.
Which is probably also a factor - it's easy to share stuff with the same half-dozen people you see every day, less so if there's a couple of hundred people and a certain amount of turnover.

My company is also tiny
Which is good as I like the majority of people I work with, but it is harder to escape the twattish ones.
