How much of your personal life are you willing to share with your work colleagues?
Do they know the names of your kids and what you studied at university, or can they go fuck themselves if you think you're associating yourself with them for anything other that the task in hand?

If you dont have a job, you're a worthless povvo.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:42, archived)
Much more than I share with the internet.

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:44, archived)
How long has b3ta said I'm on the dole, now?
When does your dole get cut off?
Surely by now I'm sans dole, and am quite simply broke?

HELLO JMG!
You'd never believe this... a GIRL who I'm SEEING has got me DERREN BROWN tickets for my BIRTHDAY.

Theatre Royal! Second row!

I think I'm pretty chuffed
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:48, archived)
Bullshit.
You don't have a birthday.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:52, archived)
I am the clone of Wormulus

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:52, archived)
his face is so wide he has to blow the candles out across a birthweek or something

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:55, archived)
Derren Brown?
sweet
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:54, archived)
*Firm handshakes*
Careful. I hear he's a fruit & nut.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:55, archived)
Be careful
he might hypnotise the audience into believing he's done a show, then nip off to the pub for two hours.
You can't be too careful with that sort of tricksy scallywag.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:19, archived)
i think due to the emotional issues you are probably intitled to income support sickness benifits

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:54, archived)
Either that
or some sort of grant from HMG to support all the hard work he does to combat obesity.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:21, archived)
maybe he lives of the money he got from the criminal injuries claim he made for being molested

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:34, archived)
AHAA! I put it to you Mister Jamuel Masterson Geordie, that you are in fact...
*dramatic pause*
*turns to camera*
NOT DOLE AT ALL!
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:45, archived)
HOW VERY DARE YOU!

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:46, archived)
Aha!
raisin suspicions, I see...
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:21, archived)
I am the exact opposite.
:(
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:47, archived)
HO'WAY MAN THE NOO MAN PET!
It's why we're such a force in crime fighting.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:56, archived)
i tell them a pack of lies
they're all men and bigger fucking gossips than any women i've ever worked with
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:44, archived)
about the same as i tell the internet

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:44, archived)
I make a point of not socialising with colleagues
sitting in a pub talking about work gets a bit dull after approximately three nanoseconds
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:45, archived)
I do the socialising bit, but if people start talking about work, I wander off and play pool or something

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:46, archived)
quicker if you work in IT and you have the proper geek with you :(

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:47, archived)
I also hate dickheads on trains who talk about work BEFORE THEY'RE EVEN AT THE OFFICE
cunts
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:49, archived)
You're like Reginald Perrin but with swearing

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:53, archived)
I usually keep my work and personal life very seperate
it's not like I share my time with them through choice.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:45, archived)
I'll tell them pretty much anything they ask.
None of them know I'm a b3tan though, apart from the bloke I met on here first.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:46, archived)
*keeps quiet*

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:31, archived)
I think it would be a bad thing if they saw the kinds of things I post on /board.

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:33, archived)
My job's a bit mind-numbing
so we have a tendency to chat as we work. I've shared things I probably shouldn't have shared and know things I probably would prefer not to know.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:46, archived)
I know who slept with who at the office social
even though he's married and she might have a certain transmitable disease.
Human Resources ask me to inform them who's pregnant, because I normally know two or three months before they do.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:48, archived)
how do you tell the difference between fat and baby when you punch them for using the transitive instead of the OIJJIOPARG

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:52, archived)
Poland doesn't have fat chicks
they were banned under Communism
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:55, archived)
I have many pictures from the Internet to disprove this
although I'm not going to link them here.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:24, archived)
They're Ukranians
dirtying the proud reputation of Lechia, the chubsome bitches.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:32, archived)
we don't have that many people.
Which is probably also a factor - it's easy to share stuff with the same half-dozen people you see every day, less so if there's a couple of hundred people and a certain amount of turnover.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:53, archived)
My company is also tiny
Which is good as I like the majority of people I work with, but it is harder to escape the twattish ones.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:12, archived)
'good weekend?'
'yeah not bad, you?'
'yeah alright'

is about the extent of it
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:49, archived)
I bet you work in Dixons

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:51, archived)
dixons would be pretty cool
I mean have you seen the cameras behind the desks? touching those is staff only baby.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:53, archived)
I don't think dixons exist anymore, DO I EXIST ANYMORE?

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:58, archived)
oh man, you'd get to sell Coverplan!

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:00, archived)
Oh yeah, and I'd be in charge of all the gold plated scart bling

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:01, archived)
five years of that and you'd almost certainly be considered for a deputy assistant manager role

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:06, archived)
I share what I want to share.
People think I am fairly open at work, but that's what I want them to think. A lot of my personal life is hidden.

I do socialise with work people though, mainly because the people that I work with are a lot of fun and we have a 'no talking shop whilst drinking shots' rule ;)
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:51, archived)
^pretty much all of this to be honest!
Hello lovely. How're you?
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:52, archived)
Two epic attacks and some minor wheezing, which is an awesome improvement on yesterday.
I'm toying with the idea of work tomorrow, but nobody at work thinks that is a good idea.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:54, archived)
At the school I work in no one really knows anything about me.
At uni, my personal tutor knows more about me than I think she wants to to. I'm an offline oversharer as well as online.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:52, archived)
I'm not keen on sharing my personal life
with my work colleagues, but I'm OK sharing it with my uni mates

I'm not sure why, but I guess I don't want to give them anything to gossip about
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:53, archived)
fuck off am I worthless
I just fixed the fridge
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:54, archived)
My colleagues used to teach my children, they know a lot of my personal history

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:55, archived)
probably best you didn't tell them about the KGB stuff though

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:04, archived)
i'm friends with the fellas i work with
i have no secrets from anyone, ever, my life is like an open book
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:56, archived)
Go on then, what colour knickers are you wearing?

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 19:58, archived)
purple
it's my thing
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:01, archived)
I'm close with the other Irish nurse in the practice, she knows more about me than anyone else there.
But not everything.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:03, archived)
does she know you're secretly from east anglia and the accent is all a big fake?

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:04, archived)
I tend not to share too much
Stupid fat bitch on the other hand tells me everything, whether I'm listening or not. She was off today though and it was nice.
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:04, archived)
that's a mirror love
lol, forum banter, no offence, great
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:06, archived)

working a trawler in the north sea is at least twice as hard
(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:19, archived)
oh come on now fishing is easy, it's hardly rocket surgery

(, Wed 13 May 2009, 20:22, archived)
I don't share much
They know which village I live in, that I have 2 kids and a recording studio but not much more than that. There are possibly one or two that I may tell more to.
