From what I can gather, they're striking now because someone was sacked because
he breached safety procedures. He opened the doors on the wrong side of the tube, then denied making a mistake when he was in his disciplinary. Apparently this is all revolving aruond safety issues. I get the Victoria line every day, and have seen no problems. If it was that unsafe, they'd do some "planned improvement" and sort it out.

I might go on strike just for the fun of it. Seems the thing to do.
