Was a passenger in a big crash a few years back.
Mate was driving down country roads in the dark, and wasn't sure on where he was going. I said ''straight on here'' when we came to a little bend.
He decided straight on means ignore the slight curve and plough directly into a granite hedge.

Much ouchness ensued.

Well, yes.
It's a granite wall that is covered in grass and trees etc. Look quite soft, but then there's granite.
