i'm not sure i understand what a book club is
do you read a book and then talk about it? on- or offline? i might be interested, but i'm hung over and new ideas are scaring me

Basically, yeah
someone suggests some reading material, you read it, say if and why you liked it (or not) and suggest something else. I think.
