My new wifi card arrived.
and it only took 5 minutes to set up with debian.

This surprised me because usually wifi and linux is a massive pain in the cunt.

apt-get install ralink-firmware network-manager
modprobe wifi0
ifup wifi0

that's it, it then burst into life.
