I went with Sony - The A350
as I didn't like to be labelled in either 'camp'. Plus, I had a lot of good quality AF Minolta lenses from an old Minolta 35mm system, and they all fit the Sony Alpha series,
which was the main reason behind it :)

I bought one of these for Mrs Turb0t on her birthday
she loves it, its a nice camera, and I got a her a 4GB memory card for it too.
The wedding photos that her nephew took using it were crap though.

I'm trying to get round to packing up stuff on the bike so I can point the A100 at some bits of Scotland currently (hence fannying around online :)
