I recorded a radio program last week off Oxford street and a guy who was helping out who was in military intelligence refused to go on the tube.
He said 'If you knew what I had been told you would not set a foot near the tube"
I still went on the tube, but then again I had drunk enough to sink a small nation.

The point he was making
was probably more along the lines of "If you're on a tube and it gets bombed you've got no chance"
Surprises me they didnt hit one of the tube lines that runs under the Thames. That would have caused some spectacular damage.
