Do you deep fry them?

(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 18:34, archived)
no don't be silly.
This deep fried mars bar thing has gotten out of hand I reckon. They should never have been invented in the first place if you ask me, it's just being lolwacky for the tourists. It's usually Japanese people who order them, once they establish that they are actually real and are actually really what they claim to be.

Oh.
So what do Scottish people eat then?

Deep fried haggis.

That sounds really quite disgusting.
I'll probably not visit any time soon if it's OK with you.

Don't you be dissing the national offal pudding.
It's actually a lot better than it sounds.
The deep fried cheeseburgers, now they're a different matter, and don't even get me started on the deep fried pizza.

Does the lettuce not go all limp when you fry a cheeseburger?

(, Mon 20 Sep 2010, 18:44, archived)
there is not lettuce in it.
There's a burger, with cheese inside it somehow, all deepfried in batter, and then that goes in a bun. It's quite odd, especially when you weren't expecting it, because the menu only lists it as "cheeseburger".
