The trouble is, I have a wider pool of Cars I'd Like To Own For A Bit
and some cars get upgraded. I'd love a Facel Vega and a Bristol, and both were in the Top 5, as was the Reliant Scimitar GTE and the Jaguar XJS, but I couldn't keep all five. So I'd have one of these as my Luxury Sedan, but also a Steyr Haflinger or a LuAZ for the weekends.

Not a classic Volkswagen then?

that's an oxymoron if ever I saw one
I'd properly sexually love an Audi Ur-quattro though

I'd love a 1940 Kubelwagen

Personally, it's kubelwagen all the way for me.
And not that shitty 1960's remake either.
I saw a 1945 kubelwagen for sale once, it was £45,000 :(

Those VW owners will pay through the nose for anything with genuine Nazi heritage

Let's face it though.
Nazi stuff is cool.
ESPECIALLY Nazi Zombies.

Someone round the corner from me had a green scimitar.
Cool as fuck. Hard to believe the same company came out with the plastic pig.

They are tasty, but you can't do body repairs to them
and the electrics are made of strawberry laces

what about a maserati cotsin zagato coupe?

(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:40, archived)
I don't really like supercars, I prefer Grand Tourers
I'd like to own a Morgan +4 for a bit though, because my grandfather did the Monte Carlo in one, and I also like the Ferrari Breadvan
(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:44, archived)
fair enough but it's such a beautiful car.

(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:45, archived)
I don't deny it, almost every car from before the 60s was pretty in a way
but I prefer the cruising bruising bulk of the Tatra T603 or the sharkfin Tatra T87 to the curvaceous waves the Italians were producing.

De Tomaso Pantera though...

I'm reading that as "Classic VWs are pretty"

(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:53, archived)
lucky old carlo eh, did they keep in touch?

(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:46, archived)
no, but he pushed an Austrian's Bentley off a cliff

(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:48, archived)
lucky for Cliff he was there, and he survived?

(, Fri 9 Mar 2012, 12:50, archived)
andy survived?
No I'm afraid not, we lost Andy the next day

Over mucho Grande?

No I don't think I'll ever get over mucho Grande, those wounds run pretty deep

Lol
