i own two wacky ties: one is a wide clown-style tie, the other is a musical keyboard tie with an 8-note scale monophonic keyboard built in.
both very unwelcome christmas presents, i've never worn them in public.

i'll take a black or conservatively patterned tie to churchy things, wakes and whatnot, just in case i'm the only one not wearing one, but i hate ties and try not to wear them.

I used to have a light-up bow tie, and a musical Christmas one.
I'm quite jealous of your keyboard tie.

I wondered when I'd become a victim of The Fappening.

don't be, it's shite.
the 'knot' is a plastic box housing a tinny speaker, it's got a piece of string with a plastic clasp to go round your neck. it's stuck in c major, or almost d minor (missing the top d, obvs) and the response isn't great - it's not weighted or velocity sensitive or anything. no midi out, no jack, i doubt it even got reviewed in sos.

You've talked me out of it.
I'll go back to covering those keyboard guitars that were all over Top of the Pops, at one time.
