I like this verr' much
all the aircraft engines at the beginning gave me Bomb The Bass flashbacks

people used to go nuts when it was played at raves
takes me right back every time

I think it's the first ever tune you could class as jungle, a good 3 years before it was a thing

This one would be a good one for ol' Hitler's speakers, the bassline is immense

Great tune and also a shout-out to whoever did the mixing, amazing depth of sound
Also I think this one might have been on the stereo a lot chez Prodigy at around the time they wrote "Break & Enter".

production really is ace isn't it?
as someone who's fannied around trying to make tunes here and there over the years, it's a lot harder to achieve than you might think

my cousin's big into all that sort of thing, he did it for a living for a while
he used to get bigly pissed off with guitarists fiddling with their control knobs in the middle of gigs when he'd already set up everything perfectly from the desk

reminds me of that excruciating early Stone Roses TV appearance where they did exactly that and tripped the whole system
And there's Ian Brown standing there like the fucking penis he is, complaining about 'amateurs' lol

their bass player is a FOF, he's apparently a good laugh*, think he's in Primal Scream now

*well, as much as any Mancunian can be

Mani left Primal Scream when the Roses reformed, they subsequently hired Deb Googe from MBV on bass
No idea who plays bass for them now, their last decent record was nearly 20 years ago.

I had their first couple of albums on cassette
Storm the studio and that self titled one
One is pretty much a remake of the other

Very different to their later work, but enjoyably bonkers
