I want a telecaster, the spec of which apparently doesn't exist off the peg
And a custom shop job will set me back nearly four grand. Something to save up for, I suppose

I rather fancy this one

EDIT actually I think it's nicer in sunburst

I've always fancied a Vox Phantom, the 60s garage punk guitar du jour, or a Teardrop
I don't know if they're supposed to be terribly good guitars but man they look t3h B1DN355

Didn't Ian Curtis rock a Vox?

Yeah, those vinteras look really cool

I would very much like to have a try on a Tele
but I'm not bothered about it being particularly nice. I've got a friend who has a Squier Telecaster, I'll ask if I can borrow that at some point. I'll restring it and give it a setup in return.

the only half decent electric I've ever owned is a tele

I've got an SG
I like it a lot, but it's quite fragile - I'd never take it out of the house.

I have an epi SG which looks fantastic but it needs setting up, it's never been quite right: buzzy frets here and there etc
Looking at eBay, I've made some money on it, it would appear:
