those places are amazing eh, I love 'em, always end up with shitloads of goodies, frozen gyozas and so on
where we live now, they've got Indian cash & carrys which are almost as bad, go in for 100g of turmeric, come out with 500g grams of it in a big bag, fucking great big cinnamon sticks, black cardamoms, fresh curry leaves etc etc

lastr time i went, i was only going for fish sauce
came home with 2 bamboo steamers, a huge bag of potstickers, a box of squid, green-lipped mussels, 4 different bottles of hot sauce, a variety of rice noodles, pea aubergines, green curry paste, those metal tongs you cn't resist clacking every time you pick them up and a firm desire to never taste durian fruit

I usually get Squid brand
I understand that Vietnamese fish sauce is milder and more fragrant than Thai but I always forget to try some and go for the Squid

yep, the squid one is the one i get
blue dragon do a passable one, too. a bit milder, but does the job

Just make your own.
I'm sure you can find a fish and a juicer, how hard can it be?
(, Wed 4 Aug 2021, 18:32, archived)
Why would I take a fish to the juicer?
I want fish sauce, not a fish ON the sauce
