Great time in Oxford, great time in Winchester: couple of spectacular meals out, Ashmolean Museum, Fishbourne Roman palace, now back in tine and about to watch Dogtown and Z Boys with jr, if she's going to dress like a 'sk8r' she'd best know some history to avoid looking like a bellend in front of real ones. I've ordered her a psychedelic Santa Cruz skateboard too, hope they're still 'cool'

ps if you're buying her a full setup then you should invest in decent trucks. They are the part that will last the longest and are likely the heaviest part of the setup, so spending a bit more on a decent, light pair is worth it.

If she's only learning and will only be riding around and not doing any ollies etc then there's no real point in shelling out on a decent deck. A bog standard one will do perfectly well.
