I isolated the extractor fan and the bathroom light still doesn't switch on.
My previous plan (to start cutting wires until something happens) is now redundant.

I'm going to closely inspect the fixture for rust, dead animals, etc., but I can't think of anything else to fix this problem. Any suggestions?
