I've been getting into the work of Wetton, Jobson and Bozzio (the 2nd incarnation of U.K.)
which has led me to Curved Air (hippy cheese) and Missing Persons (80s nu-wave bollocks), and, perhaps most concerning of all, Asia.

Asia is the most shit band since.... ELP, perhaps. Infuriatingly good musicians playing infuriatingly well written bad songs.

At least it's a callback to the time when most band names weren't already taken,
and people could call themselves pretty much anything they wanted.
