I left my last job because I ended up doing the same old management shit I did for the past 28-odd years
Not what I want to do at all. Unfortunately this means my cv looks like I want jobs I really fucking don't. I want to learn a craft.

It's hard to change down a gear. People think you'll just fuck off, or the bosses realise you can do more and loads it on you, normally for less money. I've adapted my CV , I even take qualifications off for roles that don't need to know

So I've discovered
My plan for this new round of applications is not to send a cv at all with my initial email, hoping I can talk to them first to explain myself before they get put off by my cv

I'd like to be 3 or 4 days a week, you'd think some company would think yeah pro rata. No interest yet. Only started looking 10th last month

I don't mind it so far,
I'm variously removed from any of the big nonsense and I can always claim to be too busy for bullshit meetings by insisting a job I need to do is urgent.
