and now I’m wondering if that explains why I’m in a crap unrewarding job with little chance of promotion or advancement.

It could also just be that I’m lazy and spend most of my working day wasting time on the internet.

I deactivated mine as absoulte pricks will figure out your work email address and spam you,
LinkedIn now handily emails me once a month to tell me my account is deactivated.

I've never once got a job through LinkedIn and I've had a shit load of jobs.
