It's always a mixed bag as to whether you should look up your former uni mates.
I found out last year that one of mine, who asked me out but was one of those 'no sex before marriage' types, so I turned her down, has become a High Court judge. Another one has become so rich that his entire job now is being a business angel. I don't think digging up the past is a healthy pursuit at the best of times.
