I went down to a picturesque little village near Southampton on the motorbike to pick up some odd amplifier
it was a lovely day for a jaunt. Met a jolly old cove who collets bass guitars and valve amplifiers, the charming nutter.

Had a bit of a play with it just now, very nice. Very nice indeed.

I think people still get them from Russia
so much of their tech carried on using valves long after everyone else went the way of the transistor. Not sure if they still do that though.
