It's really not worth explaining, but
I assumed the -nu was from "bonus" and that you'd ninja edit a +er afterwards to make "boner". I've only just worked out that wouldn't work anyway. The "nu" made me think of "nu-metal", and by eliminating the "nu" it made me think of the opposite of a boner; i.e., a "limp piss kit [male genitals]".

I don't just fart these posts out, there's real thought that goes into them, even when they fail as totally as that one.
