I've gone from Chrome to FF
I have a feeling an extension is causing it but the performance is fucking awful.

I used to use FF but gave up because it's far too easily parasitized by extensions you don't want.

Look up "speedyfox" - despite the name it's for all modern browsers. Cleans up and optimizes various things including the various databases that get slow over time. Details on the site: crystalidea.com/speedyfox

May help, though try removing all extensions too and see if the problem goes away.
