But... obvs... I now have to get all the documents I submitted a year ago reissued, apostilled and translated. Along with a confirmation I've not gotten divorced in the intervening time. I even agreed to get a second cat to ensure I was less likely to to get ditched.

Second moggie arrives this week. Current one will NOT be impressed in the short term but hopefully will take to a new friend with time. The cat rescue place has recommended a candidate who ought to get on with ours.
