At a guess I'd say mild to moderate elevations in liver enzymes may occur, so liver function should be closely monitored during treatment, just a feeling

I don't think it's likely,
unlicensed topical formulation applied to a corneal graft (the patient's third) to treat Candida duobushaemulonii is unlikely to cause hepatic problems, it's almost as if AI summaries are less reliable than actual humans

Seriously though, it's fascinating.
This infection is resistant to all the usual treatments, so we make an unlicensed one and hope it works or she loses her eye. I don't love all aspects of my job, but there's not much arguing with that. Fingers crossed it works.
