Yeah, I'm sure the variation from batch to batch, plant to plant,
and probably even between buds on the same plant is greater than 0.01%.

This is a much more succinct version of what I've previously said.
We make morphine sulfate 10mg/10ml in Intrasite gel at work. Operators will weigh 1.000g powder and make it up to 1kg. If the printout reads 0.999g I'll note it on the batch documentation, but the end result will be within acceptable tolerance limits when QA test the samples. I'm not changing the label to say 9.99mg/10ml.

Weed is routinely batch tested here, variation between harvests can be huge; but you're right in saying buds from the same plant will differ significantly
They sell the 'smalls' separately to the premium bud, they're a bit cheaper usually, and the %thc is always different to premium buds from the same batch.
