so you're a currymuncher rather than a negro?
Gotcha.
(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 19:30, Reply)
Yeah black people have no ideas about curry at all
does the same rule apply to you and your diet of fried Mars bars, porridge and Arbroath Smokies?
(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 19:53, Reply)
Damn I really would like an Arbroath Smoky for lunch tomorrow

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 19:54, Reply)
Smoked fish is excellent, the supermarket kippers don't really cut it.

Thought you'd prefer ackee and saltfish.

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 20:12, Reply)

I was introduced to West Indian stuff, at uni in Manchester, and really loved it, curried goat is lovely.

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 20:24, Reply)
mostly it's mutton not goat and I've had good and bad of both
My recipe came from a Jamaican freind's mum, I just improved it by removing the oil and slighty changing the cut of meat

I'd have a go at ackee saltfish myself, but we don't live anywhere near a place to get salted cod, might get some next time in London.

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 20:35, Reply)
I would have thought getting tinned Ackee's would have been more of a problem?

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 20:37, Reply)
No, supermarkets do it.

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 20:41, Reply)
If you go to your local supermarket wanting salted cod, it will appear on the shelves as if by magic ac/

(, Tue 22 Jul 2014, 20:44, Reply)
