One of the first heavy albums I really connected to as an edgy 13 year old. I've not listened to it in years, and have been pretty down on linkin park and the whole Nù Metal genre as pretty much trash. But that album has a place in my formative youth, might stick it on over breakfast. Suicide is an awful thing as well. He was mates with Chris Cornell and sang at his funeral. Really awful stuff.

Yeah, as a genre it is almost all bollocks,
But it was a stepping stone for a lot of metal heads my age. The thing is deftones were nu metal and made a string of fantastic records, others stuck with the edgy teenage angle and never improved. I saw linkin park at a download one year and surprised myself by really enjoying it.

since they'll inevitably have to raise taxes somewhere else to ensure that the local authorities have something to spend on culture, transport and all the rest of it.
What are they bitching about in your neck of the woods?

if he can get his tongue out of the chairman's arse long enough to raise an objection.

Yeah, that's more than a bit dodgy.

nah, he's a traitor and communist collaborator
according to records found in the National Records institute shortly after its manager was replaced by a current party member. It seems the new management was able to uncover reams of collaboration docs that all previous administrations had failed to declare, even the Communist party when Walesa was protesting in the Gdansk shipyards. God bless the current leaders.
