# I know the reason it can be hacked
but for obvious reasons I can't say on an open forum.

# i imagine the encryption of your username/password
into the url isn't that strong, something like that?

# There is no password!
You just have to know the person's username!

# but that's what i meant by "username/password"
a password is just something you type to gain access. it's totally immaterial in this case -- you only have one thing to type so you can call it what you like. it's then hashed into the string in the url, through whatever process. i think we're in total agreement, just using a different word...

me, i call it "edward".

# Indeed
I just typed in "riverghost" and got your entire listing. And some of that stuff is NASTY. So someone may have just overwritten your cheese?

# It's not exactly "hacking". I find the lack of security bizarre. Especially as you can just overwrite images if you upload with the same name
Bonkers.

As you say though, it can only be a sad pathetic fuck who would do that...

# Yeah
I don't think I actually have another copy of that image and the mate in question I'm unlikely to see again as she's moved back to Australia.

Yeah thanks for the service. It's great but what the fuck are they thinking not protecting it?!

# I guess the only thing is to use a "strong" username. :(
Thankfully I stopped using it after all the images disappeared (I know they got them back later)

Send them a message, they might still have that archive they used to restore them..

# I meant that maybe someone else uploaded an image with the same cheesy name
