but that type of Bond wont do as well...plus, audiences are more like youTube commenters these days - expecting realism. The cold war meant that people could dispense belief in a war-mongering, all-powerful evil genius.
Plus, the modern world can pretty much give us most gadgets Bond had in previous movies.
