I don't think its an existing story but it's a perfect example of a Dredd taleA block is put on lockdown with dredd and rookie psi cop Anderson inside. the two of them have to work their way up to the top (Game of Death style) to take on the kingpin who sounds a bit like Mom from Futurama.
I love the idea of it being all in one block, focused, claustrophobic and gritty. *everything crossed*

An 18 rated Judge Dredd movie is a pretty promising start.I fully expect greatness.
