This morning it was grey, overcast, and chilly, and the tube was delayed, so the fat man sitting next to me sighed heavily and repeatedly, as I desperately tried not to touch legs with the lady standing right in front of me, as we waited for the next automated apology from the station's PA system.

I've often wondered that about our species. The Inuits too: "yeah, this looks utterly inhospitable, I'll just go and make a house out of ice then. Sorted."
