you should have tried accidentally tuning into the original radio series
10 minutes into it on Radio 1 at 10 past midnight without a clue what was going on.
It was wonderful! :)
Halfway into it there was this www.fnord.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/BlueJamNewsbeat.mp3
I'd started recording it right away because the first bit i heard was part of Chill Out by the KLF and I recorded this bit because the 45 minute side of the tape lasted pretty much to the end of the hour long program. Lots of people who knew about Blue Jam beforehand were recording it from the start and stopped their tapes when it reaches that bit.

I really laughed when I found out that you have to wait 7 minutes or so for the little 20 second bits at the end of programmes
on the BBC we have no adverts so things like the X Files and 24 have no gaps at all. On other channels usually a half hour programme will just get one 5 min break.
