Star World Wars II.
Apologies for monotony, perhaps eventually I'll get round to a compo entry.

# pffff
i'm somewhat stuck on a chair tonight.
short skirts and leather don't mix :(
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:26, archived)
# Try driving 250 miles
in a car with leather seats and an ill-fitting t-shirt.
That is uncomfortable. However, you do have my sympathies.
Not that there's anything wrong with short skirts, of course!
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:28, archived)
# sounds painful!
i'm fine till i try to stand up, then i leave bits of skin behind
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:30, archived)
# Poor you!
Don't you have some sort of tea-bitch to fetch you things?
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:31, archived)
# i did
but i forgot to feed him. after a while, he just lay there, not moving.
still, at least it was on bin day.
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:33, archived)
# But you had to carry him to the kerb yourself!
I suppose that answers the question "What did your last slave die of?"
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:34, archived)
# thank fuck for wheely bins
also, i've discovered that i make a damn fine cup of tea

# Ugh.
Well, I don't like perfumey teas, so I'll have the PG then. Ta.

# Tea's just a foul leafy sludge anyway.
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:45, archived)
# It is if you
don't use tea bags/tea strainers/tea infusers.
If you pour loose-leaf brewed tea straight from a pot without a strainer, you'll get leafy sludge.
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:49, archived)
# Nah, all tea.
Mmmm mmm mmm, the fine taste of leaves.

# I don't like most hot drinks.
It confuses people. They think I'm broken.
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:54, archived)
# that's because you're broken
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:56, archived)
# I also don't like eggs or mushrooms, which often fucks up fried breakfasts.
I'm not even that thrilled by the thought of bacon.

# Tell me a thing you like, Mu.

# Sausages. Almost all animal based food products, except kidney.
I like chilli, indian + thai+ chinese foods.
I like pie. I like fish. I like pasta. I like most vegetables. I like fruit.

Sorry.
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:55, archived)
# See what you've done there is
you've drunk some bad coffee, and you've extended your judgement to ALL coffee. That's how coffeeist attitudes spread, Mu. That's how coffeeism gets a foot-hold.

# Just out of curiosity.....
.... the chubby guy with his hand on the knife/dagger ....Ernst Röhm??
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:43, archived)
# On closer inspection
it looks like him. I'm not a massive expert but you might be able to put two and two together. This photo is from Operation Barbarossa. I don't know if he visited the front or was directly involved in actions there.
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:48, archived)
# he was long dead before the war started
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:51, archived)
# So that'll be a no then.
Thank you, benito vaselini, for settling that pressing question.
Seriously, much appreciated. :)
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:54, archived)
# how can you tell the photo's from operation barbarossa?
(, Wed 26 Jan 2011, 23:56, archived)
# Turns out
I was talking out of my arse.
That actually is Ernst Röhm seeing as that photo was taken in Essen in the 1930s.
I searched Operation Barbarossa on Google Image Search under large files and it came up. I neglected to read the associated information.
What a wally I am...

# *Click*
for honesty :-D

Edit:- Just a bit more info. I first heard of the guy about 15 years ago
(before the internet came along) in a newspaper report & the story told
that he was a recruitment officer for the Hitler Youth. This meant that he
used to go around to schools recruiting young boys for the Nazi party &
took sexual advantage of the situation whenever he could (according to the
report). The Wikipedia post just tells me that Hitler used the "Night of
the long knives" to kill two birds with one stone 'cos we can't have a
paedophile in the ranks....can we? :-D
(, Thu 27 Jan 2011, 0:16, archived)
# Well
there's no point trying to make up a story when somebody might just turn up and smash it up into tiny bits, is there?
