Hahahah, Ben the Gimp.
Suddenly, the shopkeeper appeared, and whiped Ben's bitch arse until he squealed.

Yeah!
I've been watching old stuff like He-man and thundercats and they've all got terrifying aspects. Or homo-erotic stuff. Which is all well and good. I wonder how they affected my childhood brain?

well, i'm a single woman who hates romance films and loves horror.
i had freddy krueger posters on my bedroom walls when i was 13. those old cartoons haven't affected me in the slightest

hehehe. I was into horror too...
However now I tend to watch kids TV instead (because the little fuckers won't let me watch anything I want to see) hang on, freddy kruger? Extreme. I like it.

The first one was ace, but the law of diminishing returns really does apply to this series.

"Dougal & The Blue Cat" was the ultimate childhood nightmare for me.
Mr. Ben pales into insignificance in the face of such overwhelming terror.

It's the acid nightmare version of Magic Roundabout, with singing.
Seriously.
