I'd love a 400mm lens for my Alpha.
However, we're too attached to the kids to sell them to get the required funds. I've ot a 75-300 mm and it's as soft as kitten past 200mm and it's slower than a glacier to autofocus.

I have a 300 2.8 which is utterly mental
about the sharpest lens I own; and even that's just been superseded by Canon's new super telephotos (which cost an absolute fortune). handheld
