where do i set how many colours i want to use in image ready? in PS its just : save for web. why doesn't image ready have this? image ready SUCKS and PS CS5 can't OPEN animated gifs in the year 2011- fucking fail adobe

in the 'view' or 'window' or something menu
there's an optimisation palette, which is the same as photoshop's 'save for web' gubbins
you can set all your colour-depth etc stuff there

Just double-click the gif. If you can't see the frames, go Window > Animation.

you just used Import Video to Frames - navigate to the folder where the gif was and start typing the name of the gif and you could select it apparently you couldn't do that with Mac versions of PS.
