eventually put it together not perfect though needs better rotascoping and the owl head is a bad angle but it's for the compo so meh! :D

I then go and decide to do something that completely makes it unworkable.

I did this with a recent road scroll - tried to make one with alpha'd trees srolling by but it nearly killed my processor and After Effects refused to render it as it kept running out of memory damn my 32 bit 4gb limited computers!!
