# Oh.
So what would be the point of that?

# Grid Wars was my second favourite game after Dark Castle

not sure now but I don't think I ever beat it

# Ah, I see.
Grid wars was released when I was 18.
I can happily report I had better things to do then, which is probably why I had never heard of it.

# I haven't quite been motivated enough to sort out a Mac emulator in order to relive my past failures, but I'm tempted, from time to time.

although I did clock Dark Castle repeatedly

# I have a friend who has all the emulators you could ever want. And all the others, too.
After spending 2 or 3 minutes on every 'classic', it quickly becomes apparent that old games aren't as good as new games.

# sad but true
tried an old DOS port of Archon a few months back, terrible fucking controls
and the only ZX81 durr I meant Spectrum game that still holds up is Manic Miner

I have rather been enjoying a PSX emulator this year though

# The only game I remember from ZX is chuckie egg for the spectrum.
I managed to learn enough basic to make a couple of games of my own for the spectrum.
My younger brother got minutes of enjoyment from them.

# Chuckie Egg's a good example, rubbish compared to Lode Runner

I too enjoyed making little things in BASIC and later Pascal, very few of which ever got remotely finished

# Someone's in a bad mood (other than myself).
Take a few deep breasts (or breaths if their all you've got) and repost please!

To quote Jimmy Carter* "You need to realize that you a fragile organism on a very powerful drug. If you have a beer in the 'fridge, go ahead and drink it. It might be good to put on some music; do you have any Allman Brothers?"

Kidding. I hope that's okay. I've had a terrible day myself and I'm just trying to feel better; may we see your piccy please?

#
I knew it was wasted here.
It's fucking brilliant and no-one comments apart from you, and you were under a certain amount of obligation so it doesn't really count.
